But this seems a reality as the Pune Municipal Corporation and Intel have joined hands to do just that. Here's the link to the article in the Economic Times. Surprisingly, this project would cost the Pune Municipal Corporation a sum of only 7 crores, which means ... Wi-Fi is a truly inexpensive and a quicker option to cables connecting homes to broadband or dial-ups.
Which means ... better infrastructure in Pune, attractive IT destination ... higher property prices. Got that?
